PATRICK BORG
QLD OPERATIONS MANAGER
Patrick joined Mynesight training at the end of 2022 after 12 years working on various Mine Sites throughout the Bowen Basin for both BMA and AngloAmerican. In these roles he was accountable for the implementation of the sites training scheme
Prior to his time in the mining sector he worked as a Metal Fabricator, completing his Sheetmetal Apprenticeship in 1997. He commenced tutoring at Mackay TAFE on a part-time basis in 1999 and progressed to full time Teaching in 2002, working with Pre-vocational students, Apprentices and Adult learners from all walks of life. This initial teaching experience spurred him on to complete his education degree from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education (BAVE) in 2003 from Griffith University.
Patrick worked as a Teacher and an Educational Program Manager where he was responsible for the Day to Day management of the Engineering and Built Environment Faculty at the Mackay campus of CQITAFE. In 2008 he decided to diversify his Teaching/Training experience into the Organisational sector where he took on a role as the Engineering Training Officer at Mackay Sugar. There, he was accountable for the recruitment and training of engineering apprentices and trainees and the upskilling of the Mackay Sugar workforce.
When he is not working, Patrick enjoys spending time with family. When the family have enjoyed enough time with Patrick, he is sent to the shed where there is always a project on the go and a Triumph to be ridden.
Patrick is excited about being back in the RTO sector where he will strive to continue to make opportunities for the Mackay community and industry to access quality training and learning experiences.
JUSTIN BACHMANN
SCHEDULING & SYSTEM COORDINATOR
Justin has over 15 years of experience spread across several technology-based roles in the educational and mining sectors. He has developed a wealth of knowledge delivering digital training solutions within the mining industry in Australia and India.
Justin joined the MyneSight team in 2014 to help deliver some of MyneSight’s first digital training projects and has been delivering digital training solutions ever since. With a strong passion for implementing technology to engage the learner and improve training efficiency, Justin is responsible for developing unique eLearning solutions for clients along with leveraging technology within MyneSight’s training products.
With a love for most things tech, Justin is always looking for what’s next!
Justin holds a Bachelor of Information Technology and a Bachelor of Multimedia Studies from CQUniversity.
DEL PARTRIDGE
ADMINISTRATION COORDINATOR
Del joined the MyneSight team in 2012 assisting with the original MyneStart program.
She has worked in a variety of roles within the MyneSight team and is currently responsible for the genreal day to day running of the administration functions of an RTO.
Del doesn’t mind a round of golf and is very particular about the sort of music she listens to.
Jess Stennett
TRAINEESHIPS COORDINATOR
Jess came to MyneSight in 2023 after time in the AASN (Australian Apprenticeship Support Network) field, with a strong interest in trainee development and support. She has a strong background in hospitality and agriculture. Growing up on the Mid North Coast of NSW spending her time on local dairy farms learning how to run a successful milking operation before relocating to Mackay 12 years ago.
Her background in hospitality has led her to working up from dishwasher to head cook across historical local pubs in the Mackay region before heading into foodservice for many years. Being raised by a chef, cooking is a passion for Jess, and she loves to create and share her flair for food with family and friends.
Mining has always fascinated Jess, asking endless questions of anyone she knows in the field, and she is excited to be in the industry in a role that supports her passion of development and support. She is known to never back down from a challenge and loves to invest in learning across any subject, always keen to try her hand at something new and test her physical and mental capabilities.
When Jess isn’t working, she enjoys training hard and competing in Triathlon’s across Queensland, spending time with her partner and two children sampling local produce and fine dining, camping and exploring our remote country and entertaining friends.
