Standard 11 Surface Online Refresher

Course Information:

Our industry-recognised Standard 11 Refresher Program aims to provide a streamlined and flexible method of validating participants' skills and knowledge to safely and competently undertake work in a mining environment.

Once you have enrolled into the course you will complete the following process.

STEP 1. UPLOAD EVIDENCE
Once granted access to the course you will be required to upload the required evidence listed below. Once the required evidence is uploaded a MyneSight trainer will validate your experience.
  • CV / Resume detailing your mining experience over the previous five (5) years.
  • Standard 11 or BMA Core Induction Statement of Attainment that hasn’t been expired for more than 6 months.
  • Training transcript from the most recent mine site you have worked on in the past 2 years.
  • Third-Party letter of support from your current employer or recent supervisor
STEP 2. TRAINER REVIEW
Once you have submitted your evidence, our trainers will review your competency challenge. 
Reviews are undertaken every week, it may take 7 days before your evidence is reviewed.
Please allow 2 weeks for an assessment to be undertaken and for your SOA to be issued if deemed competent. 

STEP 3. EXPERIENCE CONFIRMATION
When you have completed all the online activities, our trainer will contact you for a final competency conversation to confirm your currency.

Once completed and validated we will award your Statement of Attainment.

WHAT DO I GET WHEN I FINISH THE COURSE?
At the successful completion of the MyneSight Standard 11 Refresher Program, you will be awarded a statement of attainment covering the competencies for Surface Coal Mining.

Target Audience:

Any coal mine worker in Queensland who is actively employed is welcome to enrol in our online Standard 11 refresher. If you are unable to provide the required evidence to enrol in our online course please give our helpful team a call and we can discuss your training options.

If you are new to the Queensland mining environment and have not already completed your Standard 11 you must undertake the full classroom-based course.
