Course Information:
For contractors attending DBCT, a valid White Card is a mandatory requirement prior to attending site. This training ensures all inductees understand workplace health and safety (WHS) obligations, hazard identification, and safe work practices in line with both national standards and Queensland regulations, as well as DBCT site expectations.
Upon successful completion of CPCWHS1001, students will receive their White Card, which is mandatory for working on construction sites throughout Queensland. The knowledge and skills gained from this course prepare students to contribute to a safe and compliant construction environment, safeguarding themselves and their colleagues from potential risks.
Entry Requirements
To enrol in this unit, learners should:
- Be physically capable of performing basic construction-related tasks, such as bending, stooping, and moving safely around a simulated worksite.
- Possess ACSF Level 2 LLND skills (language, literacy, numeracy, digital)
- Be attentive and able to follow detailed lifting procedures and safety controls
What to Wear:
- Long Pants / Jeans
- Enclosed footwear (steel cap preferred)
What to bring:
