Course Information:

First Aid is aimed at providing candidates with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to an emergency in a range of situations, including home, community and workplace settings. This course is designed for First Aiders to manage patient care until the arrival of an Ambulance. This course is recommended for those working in a number of industries.

What to Wear:

Closed in shoes
Casual wear, Sleeved T-shirt (no singlets)

What to bring:

Identification i.e. drivers licence
USI number
Lunch / Crib. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and fridges are provided for lunch / crib.

Learning Outcomes:

HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

Learning Methods:

Classroom or online instructional resources and practical activities.
